If your job is going to an intermediate destination such as a stock yard or depot and unloaded before it is loaded again and transported to the destination. Or you have a job which is picked up one day and delivered another, you can use our Multi-Leg feature.
To add a leg to a job, simply click on the blue truck icon. This will add the legs to the job.
If you need more legs that two, you can keep clicking on the truck icon.
This job example had one job line with two activity legs.
You always need to ensue that the Origin and Destination set at the top of the Add Job page are included in the activity legs of the job.
By default only a vehicle will show on a job, but you can turn on the driver field so you can assign a job to a driver and a vehicle. If you have the driver field on and only assign a vehicle, when a driver accepts the job the Driver field will update on the job.
๐กTop Tip
You can turn on the driver field in the General Settings.
What will the drivers see?
A job with multiple legs will show as separate activities on the mobile app. If different vehicles are involved then the activity legs will show on the mobile app for the drivers assigned to each vehicle. Once the job has been accepted by one driver, it will only display on that drivers app.
Activity Dates
If you have jobs with legs across multiple days, you can enable activity dates in your settings.
To do this:
Go to Account > General Settings > Scroll down to Display Options and tick Activity Dates
๐กTop Tip
If you're only wanting to add multiple products to a job you would use the Add Row function rather than the Multi-Leg function.
You are unable to split jobs with multiple legs.
