What is Client and Location Attachments?

Client and Location Attachments allows essential documents related to a location client to be uploaded to the client and viewed directly through the drivers app. This feature ensures that all drivers have the necessary information at their fingertips, helping them to complete their tasks successfully and safely.

How Does It Work?

Dispatchers can upload documentation to location clients and each job created for that specific client will have the attachments sent to the mobile app.

Common documents that can be attached include:

  • Mud/site maps

  • Site safety instructions/checklists

Supported File Types

To maintain consistency and security, Client and Location Attachments supports the same file types that can already be attached to a job by dispatchers and drivers:

  • JPG

  • PNG

  • TIFF

  • TXT

  • PDF

  • XLS/XLSX

  • DOC/DOCX

Steps to add a Client and Location Attachment

  1. Go to Clients > Find Clients

  2. Click on the Client

  3. Scroll down to the Client Attachments section and click Add Attachment

  4. Browse for the attachment and Save

  5. The attachments will show underneath

๐Ÿ’ก Top Tip

Before uploading your client attachments, make sure they are saved with a meaningful name. This is the name that will appear in the mobile app for the driver.

What does the driver see?

When the driver views the job on the app, they will see a red icon (i) notification to show that there's an attachment.

If you enable the Charge Client to show on the mobile app, this will show in the note section alongside the job note.

When they click on the Origin or Destination the attachments will show at the bottom. The driver can tap on the attachments to view them.

Steps to remove a Client Attachment

Click on the X to delete the attachment.

๐Ÿ’ก Top Tip

Job attachments which are specific to the job can be uploaded to each job by dispatch. The job attachments will show under the job details.
