You can attach files to a job while creating a new job or when editing an existing job. Attachments can also be selected for sending to the Mobile App, making it easier to control which documents your drivers can access.
When Creating or Editing a Job
Click Add Attachment and select one or more files from your computer, or drag and drop files directly onto the Job Page.
To select multiple files when browsing, hold the Ctrl key while selecting.
The selected files will appear in the Attachments section.
Save the job to upload and attach the files.
File Types and Limits
Supported file types include images, PDFs, and Microsoft documents (e.g. JPG, PDF, DOC).
Maximum file size: 10 MB per file
You can upload up to 10 files at a time
To upload more, refresh or reload the page and repeat the process.
Chrome Limitation
When dragging and dropping using Chrome there is a security limitation which doesn’t allow all files. Instead you can either click the add attachment button and browse for the file or drag the file into the file window instead.
View Attachments
Attached files will appear in the Attachments section of the job.
Click a file to view it.
Tick the checkbox beside an attachment to select it.
Send Attachments to the Mobile App
You can choose which attachments are available to drivers in the Mobile App.
Tick the checkbox beside an attachment to make it available in the Mobile App.
When multiple attachments are present, you can tick 'Make all attachments visible to drivers' to quickly select all attachments for the Mobile App.
Untick an attachment if you do not want it visible to drivers.
Mobile App Access
Drivers can view and download selected attachments for jobs assigned to their vehicle directly from the Mobile App.
Delete Attachments
Open the job and locate the attachment.
Click the X in the top-right corner of the file.
Confirm deletion in the pop-up window.
Email Attachments
Click Email Consignment Note to send attachments along with any Driver Returned images.
If files are already selected (ticked), they will automatically be included in the email.
Client or Location Attachments
Client and Location Attachments allow essential documents related to a client or location to be uploaded and viewed directly through the driver's app. This helps ensure drivers have the information they need to complete their tasks safely and successfully.
