Understanding job icons

Job icons help show whether a job is assigned to your own vehicle/driver or to a subcontractor, and what stage the job is at.

Unassigned or editable job

If a job does not yet have a vehicle or subcontractor assigned, or if the assigned vehicle is not linked to a driver using the mobile app, the Edit button will display as a blue pencil.

Your Own Jobs

If a job is assigned to a vehicle used by a driver on the mobile app, you’ll see a smartphone icon in the vehicle field.

  • Blue smartphone = Job has been assigned

  • Green smartphone = Driver has seen and accepted the job

  • Yellow smartphone = Driver has completed the job

  • Yellow smartphone with red dot = The job has an attachment, such as:

    • driver note

    • image attachment

    • POD signature

Subcontracted Jobs

If a job is assigned to a subcontractor, you’ll see a subcontractor icon.

  • Blue subcontractor icon = Job has been assigned to a subcontractor

  • Green subcontractor icon = Subcontractor has accepted the job

  • Yellow subcontractor icon = Subcontractor has completed the job

  • Yellow subcontractor icon with red dot = The job has an attachment, such as:

    • driver note

    • image attachment

    • POD signature

How to access the Edit job page?

Clicking on the job icon at the left of the daysheet screen will take you to the edit job page.

Other Icons

Calendar Icon

You can click the calendar icon on the daysheet to schedule the job date, or edit it if you wish to change the date. Once you have selected the date you will need to Save you changes.

Contact Icons

If you need to call your client or driver before a job is completed, you can use the contact icons to track who you’ve spoken to and the outcome of the call.

There are three icons:

  • Grey X – Not confirmed

  • Orange Circle – Message left

  • Green Tick – Confirmed (spoke to someone)

Click the icon to cycle through the options, then remember to Save your changes.

Additional Use for Contact Icons

Contact icons can also be used if you have the “Send jobs to app manually” option enabled. In this case, they act as a simple way to track contact status before sending jobs to the mobile app. More info here.
