How to access incognito mode

Accessing incognito mode, also known as private browsing, varies slightly across different web browsers. Hereโ€™s a quick guide for the most popular ones:

Google Chrome

  • Desktop: Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select New Incognito Window. Alternatively, use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Command + Shift + N (Mac).

  • Mobile: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select New Incognito Tab.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Desktop: Click the three lines (hamburger menu) in the top-right corner and select New Private Window. You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or Command + Shift + P (Mac).

  • Mobile: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select New Private Tab.

Microsoft Edge

  • Desktop: Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select New InPrivate Window. The shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Command + Shift + N (Mac).

  • Mobile: Tap the three dots in the bottom center and select New InPrivate Tab.

Apple Safari

  • Desktop: Click File in the menu bar and select New Private Window. The shortcut is Command + Shift + N.

  • Mobile: Tap the tabs button, then tap Private and Done.
