Jobs can be imported into MyTrucking using the Import and Review Jobs feature. This allows you to create multiple jobs at once, removing the need to enter jobs individually.

All job imports are managed from the Jobs → Import and Review Jobs menu.

Supported Import Sources

Jobs can be imported from the following sources:

  • Job Sharing with Inter-MyTrucking

  • Customer Portal job requests

  • MyTrucking CSV

  • MyTrucking Truck and Date report

  • M2X API

  • M2X CSV

  • Custom‑defined import files

All of these sources are reviewed and processed in the Import and Review Jobs screen.

Accepting or Reviewing Imported Jobs

Once jobs appear in Import and Review Jobs, you have two options:

  • Bulk Accept
Select one or more job requests using the checkboxes and click Accept to create all selected jobs at once.

  • Review Individually (recommended to ensure fields are mapped correctly)
Click Review All to step through each job request and review details before creating the job.

Import File Option

Use the Import File option when importing jobs from:

  • MyTrucking CSV

  • MyTrucking Truck and Date report

  • M2X CSV

  • Custom‑defined import files

Note: M2X imports are available for New Zealand only.

Importing a File

  1. (Optional) Click Download import template if you need a template to start with.

  2. Click Import File to open the file browser.

  3. Select the file you want to upload.

  4. The system will validate the file and display the number of job requests found.

  5. Select jobs using the checkboxes:

    • Tick the top checkbox to select all jobs

    • Or select individual jobs

  6. Click Accept to create jobs in MyTrucking.

Skipping Jobs

If you do not want certain jobs created:

  1. Select the job(s) using the checkbox.

  2. Click Skip.

Skipped jobs are removed from the list and will not be created in MyTrucking.

Populating the Import Template

When completing an import template, the following four fields are compulsory, just like creating a job manually in MyTrucking:

  • Charge Client
Must match the Trading Name of the client in MyTrucking.

  • Origin

  • Destination

  • Product

Optional Fields

Additional fields can be populated as required, including:

  • Job Date

    • Leave blank to create the job as Unscheduled

    • If entered, the format must be D/M/YYYY

  • PickupVehicleName

    • Must match the vehicle name exactly as it appears in MyTrucking

    • If left blank, the job will be Unassigned

  • DeliveryVehicleName

    • Used if you have separate pickup and delivery vehicles set up

    • For a job to be Unassigned, both vehicle fields must be blank

Important
You cannot modify the structure of the report template.
All column names and formatting must remain exactly the same for the import to work correctly.

💡 Top Tip: Matching Data

If any field value does not exactly match an existing entry in MyTrucking, a new record will be created automatically.

For example:

  • If the product “Apple” is entered in the template

  • But “Apples” exists in MyTrucking

  • A new product called Apple will be created

To avoid duplicates, ensure names in your template match existing entries exactly.

💡Top Tip

If any of the entered fields do not match an entry in MyTrucking they will be created as new entries.
For example: if "Apple" is entered in the product field on the template, and in MyTrucking a product is setup as "Apples" a new product will be created.

ANZCO Jobs

ANZCO provides a dedicated system for booking Bobby Calf pickups.

  • A job file can be requested directly from ANZCO

  • This file can then be imported into MyTrucking using Import and Review Jobs
