Agent or Works Buyer

How do I load an agent or buyer to a job?

Written by Support

Adding an Agent or Works Buyer to a job allows you to:

  • Run custom reports

  • Email a list of jobs directly to them

  • Automatically notify them when a delivery is completed (optional)

Automatic Delivery Notifications

If the Agent or Works Buyer is ticked to allow Automatic Delivery Notifications, they will receive an email when the driver uploads the job via the Mobile App.
This email includes the job details and any driver attachments.

Click here for more information on the Delivery Notification.

Flexible field usage

While these fields are named Agent and Buyer by default, they can be used for a variety of purposes.

The field names can also be customised to suit your business. Just let us know your preferred wording and we’ll configure this for you.

Important to know

  • Agent / Buyer fields do not appear on the Daysheet or Daysheet Report

  • To report on these fields, you’ll need to run a custom report

Turning the feature on

Once enabled, the Agent or Works Buyer field will appear on the Add Job page.

To turn this feature on:

  1. Go to Account → General Settings

  2. Enable the Agent / Works Buyer option

Adding an Agent or Buyer to a job

When creating a job, you can add the Agent or Buyer as you go:

  • If the Agent/Buyer already exists, select them from the list

  • If they don’t exist yet, click Add New — they’ll be saved to your Client List for future jobs

  • If you already have the agent/buyer loaded in your Client List, go to FIND CLIENT and tick the box shown below

  • When you have this setting turned on you will now have a report available called Agent report
