Non-Billable Clients

Clients can be marked as Non-Billable. If the client is marked as Non-Billable all jobs for that client will not be invoiced.

A Non-Billed job is managed on the Daysheet as a normal job, but when ticked as "Done" the job skips the Invoicing page and will have the status "N" on the Find Jobs page.

When Adding or Editing jobs, the Non-Billed tag on the client is clearly identified with an orange NB icon.

Client Indicator:

When selecting a Charge Client on Add and Edit Job the tag is also shown in the search result:

Job Line Indicator:

The Total on the Add and Edit job pages shows the job will not be charged.
The job price total is displayed in red with a strike-through:

Setting a Client as Non-Billable

You can do this on the Edit Client page under the Client Settings, tick the non-billable checkbox, then save.

The setting is only applicable to Charge Clients, so the Receives Invoices checkbox must be ticked for the Non-Billable checkbox to be available.

Please Note:

Jobs are currently set as Non-Billable on the Add and Edit Job pages.
This means that jobs created using the Import Jobs feature will not be set to Non-Billable.
