Step 1: Set Up the Integration in EROAD

  1. Log in to your EROAD account.

  2. Click the cog icon in the top‑right corner.

  3. Select Administration.

  4. In the left‑hand menu, click My Organisation.

  5. In the Partner Gateways section, click Add.

  6. Enter the following details:

    • Name: MyTrucking

    • Group/Tab: MyTrucking

  7. Ensure Enabled is ticked.

  8. Click Save.

You should now see MyTrucking listed under Partner Gateways.

Next, copy the API Key provided (double‑click the key and press CTRL+C). You’ll paste this into MyTrucking shortly.

Step 2: Connect EROAD to MyTrucking

  1. Log in to MyTrucking and go to Account → General Settings.

  2. Scroll to the Vehicle GPS Tracking section.

  3. Tick the checkbox Enable EROAD Integration.

  4. A new field will appear. Paste (CTRL+V) the API Key you copied from EROAD.

  5. Click Save.

Step 3: Match Your Vehicles

  1. Go to Account → Vehicles in MyTrucking.

  2. Any vehicle that automatically matches an EROAD asset (via Registration or name) will display a red indicator.

  3. To manually match vehicles, click Import EROAD Vehicles.

  4. In the MyTrucking Action column, choose the correct MyTrucking vehicle from the dropdown to pair it with the EROAD device.

💡 Top Tip

  • Each EROAD‑tracked vehicle can link to only one MyTrucking vehicle, and vice versa.

  • You don’t need to match every EROAD asset. For unmatched assets, you can choose to Ignore them or Create a new vehicle in MyTrucking.

Step 4: Enjoy Automated Distance Tracking

Once a vehicle is matched, MyTrucking will begin collecting daily distance readings at midnight. This removes the need for manual calculations, MyTrucking automatically works out your per‑kilometre costings!

You’ll find this data in the Income by Vehicle report.

You’ll also notice a new MyTrucking tab inside EROAD. When you select a truck in EROAD, you’ll be able to see that truck’s jobs for the day.
