Merge Clients

Your clients in MyTrucking are merged by moving the job history from one client to another and archiving the selected client. This allows the removal of duplicated clients without losing any job history. 

Clients can be Merged from the Find Client page, or from The Edit Client page. 

Find Client page 

On the Find Client page you select the client you wish to Merge and Archive by ticking the selection box on the left. You can select multiple clients if required. 

Then select  Merge from the Options dropdown.

You are then asked to select the client you wish to merge the job history into. This is the client record that will remain in your current client list.
Start typing the clients name and the search box will display the list of matching clients.

Select the client the job history will be merged into, and click Merge. You will receive a success notification upon completion.

The clients that have been merged will now be Archived and their job history will have been transferred to the client that was selected. 

If you view your Archived clients, the originally selected client will be shown in this list.
The archived client can be restored to the current list, but the job history cannot be re-instated once a merge has been completed. 

Edit Client page

On the Edit Client page, there is a button that can be clicked to merge the client with another. 

The client page you are on is the client that will be Archived, and the client you select will have the Job History transferred to it.
