Getting started through the Xero Wizard

When you first log in to MyTrucking, the Xero Setup Wizard will automatically start. Simply follow the prompts and, once completed, you'll be ready to create jobs and invoices. 

You'll be prompted to log in to your Xero account and authorise MyTrucking to connect.

This connection allows MyTrucking to automatically send invoice information to Xero, where invoices can be created without the need for manual data entry.

Select your default sales account for invoicing.

This can be changed later under Account > General Settings if required.

If you enable Show Sales Accounts on Products Page, you can assign different sales accounts to individual products.

If you have access to multiple Xero organisations under the same login (for example, if you're a bookkeeper or manage multiple companies), make sure you select the correct Xero organisation from the dropdown list before proceeding.

You'll be asked to select one or more products.

Additional products can be added later, however at least one product must be selected before you can continue.

If you use Xero Tracking Categories to track vehicles, select the appropriate tracking category.

MyTrucking can use this information to import your vehicles from Xero.

If you don't have Tracking Categories, you can click the + button to add your vehicles.

Additional vehicles can be added at any time from the Vehicle page.

Your clients will automatically be imported from Xero.

Please note: Only customers from Xero will be imported. Other Xero contacts, such as suppliers and non-customer contacts, are not imported into MyTrucking.

Your account is now set up and ready to use.

Click Get Started to enter MyTrucking. You can also scan the QR code displayed on screen to download the MyTrucking Mobile App for your drivers.
